We've all been there. Even if you've lived in our lovely, "Big Little City", for a while... it can feel like you've ran out of things to do! 

Here are some fresh ideas for your summer date nights, including activities and local restaurants!

Looking for a low key night out for dinner and drinks? This is the spot for you! Visit them for their incredible happy hour and see where the night takes you.

Safari Nights at Reid Park Zoo

Enjoy the Zoo and cooler evening temperatures as you watch the sunset at this series of themed nights featuring different keeper chats, animal encounters, artifact stations, and special activities. Refresh with dinner and a cold drink at the Zoofari Market, listen to live music by some of Tucson’s best bands. Take a ride on the Cox Jungle Carousel, and play games with Tucson Parks and Recreation’s ‘Ready, Set, Rec! There will be a different theme each week, so every visit brings something new and plenty of photo opportunities to remember a great evening.

Don't be fooled by the face of this place. This is one of our personal favorites, it will be yours too if you're a seafood lover or an oyster buff! 

Rooted in Tucson since 1993, Kingfisher has since been known to offer award-winning cuisine ranging from fresh seafood, grilled meats and poultry dishes. Take it from us, order the chef's special and an espresso martini! Although, you can't won't go wrong with anything on their menu whether it be food or cocktails.

Looking for something that is 420 friendly? Visit the Harambe Cafe! Tucson's first cannabis club. Owner, Adriana, hosts many events throughout the month including "Paint N Puff", Food truck nights, Live music, and game nights! Enjoy a space where you can feel safe, and have a great time! 

Locale Neighborhood Italian

A Bolognese that even your hard ass Italian grandmother would love! Locale is a (local) Tucson Italian restaurant that you have to visit! They have an incredible outdoor seating area to enjoy the cool summer nights.

Movies at the Night Jar

Enjoy dinner and drinks on the patio every Friday night! The food here is incredible, and the movies that they choose are just as good! This Friday, July 15th, they will be playing a classic, Holes! 

Test your taste buds at Indian Twist

Not a fan of Indian food? This place will change your mind! Indian Twist is a local gem in central Tucson. GM, Jimmy Aujla grew up in India and volunteered as a child in the kitchen of a Sikh Temple. He had dreamed of opening his own restaurant since moving to the U.S. in 1996, and Tucson was the lucky spot!

Want something that's a little out of the box? The Desert Museum has nightly activities that will make you feel like a kid again! Bring your flashlight and explore, grab a local beer and wander, experience a live animal encounter, scamper in Packrat Playhouse, feel the touch of a stingray, or participate in special nightly activities!
